On Saturday 19 October we have arranged not 1 but 2 events at IBC in Brussels…. and people are Welcome to attend one event, or both….
14:00 – 15:30 – Dysgraphia Workshop – with Klara Backes.
Come & learn what #Dysgraphia is…..
At the end of this workshop you will be able able to understand:
- what is meant by the word « dysgraphia »,
- what parents and teachers should be aware of,
- how to hold a pencil properly and the correct posture whilst writing or drawing.
Klara Leclercq Backes has been a Graphologist for 17 years and a Forensic Handwriting expert for the Belgian Courts for 15 years.
For the past 12 years Klara has been working with children, adolescents and adults to correct their writing difficulties. The main problems are slowness, pain, and untidy work. Illegible writing can penalise academic progress and usually reduces a persons self-esteem.
Klara is also the owner of an Academy to train future graphic motor therapists.

this is your opportunity to put a question to our facilitator Saretha Naudé, M.Ed, pedagogue, an ambassador for the art of pedagogy, and international educator with a belief that all children are curious to learn. How we learn is just as important as what we learn.
Experienced coach, mentor and tutor with children and adults on the spectrum, dyslexia, dyscalculia and ADHD ASC. A life-long learner believing in the power of neuroplasticity and the integration of technology, a growth-mindset and the necessary skills for students and educators to have a bright future. Member of Brainfie and active participant of ADHD, ASD & LD Belgium.
These Teacher & Parent meetings are usually lively and many people in the room have suggestions and tips.
Neurodiverse Adults are also welcome to join us and share their experiences.
